📍 Location: 11 Waverly Place, New York, NY (In-office, adjacent to Washington Square Park)
🕒 Schedule: 10–15 hours/week, flexible May–August 2025 (with potential opportunity to extend during the academic year)
💼 Compensation: Competitive hourly rate

We are a family investment firm focused on long-term, hands-on real estate investing and management. Our core portfolio includes multifamily properties in Manhattan, with a strong concentration in the Greenwich Village neighborhood. In addition, we own and manage a significant commercial real estate investment portfolio across Colorado, Illinois, and Minnesota—spanning flex office, industrial, lab, and R&D spaces. Our commercial tenants include Fortune 100 companies and many publicly traded firms, reflecting the institutional quality of our holdings. The firm is led by senior principals with over 35 years of experience each and a deep, intuitive understanding of real estate investing built through decades of market cycles and hands-on asset management.

 

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented college intern to support our investment team through a range of analytical projects. The role offers hands-on experience in real estate financial analysis, portfolio monitoring, and market research. This is a unique opportunity for students looking to apply classroom knowledge in a dynamic, real-world investment environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in financial modeling and performance tracking of multifamily and commercial real estate assets
  • Support analysis of investment portfolios, including return, risk, and allocation reporting
  • Conduct market research on local and national real estate trends
  • Maintain and update internal financial models and dashboards
  • Present findings and insights from data analysis
  • Participate in ad hoc research and strategic initiatives

 

Qualifications

  • Rising sophomores or juniors studying finance, economics, real estate, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Basic understanding of financial statements and investment concepts
  • Analytical mindset and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Interest in applying emerging AI tools and technologies
  • Comfortable working independently in an in-office environment with remote colleagues/management. Our team is distributed across New York and California.

 

Bonus Skills (Not Required)

  • Experience with real estate underwriting
  • Familiarity with VBA/macros
  • Experience using CoStar or other market research tools
  • Experience with Yardi
