Learning and Development Intern

Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic summer intern currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Learning & Development, Human Resources, Education, or a related field, with an expected graduation year of 2027. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work closely with our Sr. Manager of Learning & Development and Training Coordinator, supporting various learning initiatives and projects. 

Key Responsibilities: 

GHR Academy Support: 

Collaborate with the Global Learning & Development team to identify new topics and vendors for the GHR Academy. 

Draft engaging and informative blog posts to highlight academy activities and updates. 

Training Coordinator Support: 

Provide on-site support for instructor-led classes on campus throughout the summer. 

Assist with classroom setup, vendor coordination, and class facilitation as needed. 

Training Guides Development: 

Partner with our instructional designer to draft comprehensive training guides for a new system implementation. 

Ensure guides are user-friendly and effectively communicate system functionalities. 

Global Learning & Development Newsletter: 

Drive the creation of the monthly Global Learning & Development newsletter. 

Select relevant topics, design the newsletter template, and write insightful learning blogs. 

SharePoint Communication Sites: 

Assist in the creation and design of SharePoint communication sites for Global Human Resources. 

Ensure sites are visually appealing, user-friendly, and effectively communicate key information. 

 

Skills and Qualifications: 

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Learning & Development, Human Resources, Education, or a related field, with an expected graduation year of 2027. 

Strong written and verbal communication skills. 

Excellent organizational and time management abilities. 

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 

Creative thinking and problem-solving skills. 

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. 

Experience with content creation and design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus. 

Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint and site creation is highly desirable.
