### Position Overview
Voice Up Publishing seeks a part-time Creative Writing & Storytelling Leader to help people discover their purpose through the power of words. In this role, you'll guide participants in using creative writing, poetry, and storytelling as tools for personal transformation and community impact. You'll work directly with our founder to develop innovative approaches that connect creative expression with our core mission of transforming how families support a healthier way for a better life.

### Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead creative writing workshops that help participants express their purpose through poetry, storytelling, and other written forms
- Create curriculum that uses the spoken and written word to guide participants through our five-step process: discovering purpose, finding passion, learning to speak well, learning to listen well, and providing support
- Design social impact projects that use storytelling to bring communities together
- Facilitate small group sessions that foster safe spaces for authentic self-expression
- Mentor participants in developing their unique voice while connecting to larger community needs
- Contribute to our ongoing research on how creative expression connects to purpose discovery
- Collaborate with our team to integrate creative writing approaches across our programs

### Qualifications
- Experience in creative writing, poetry, spoken word, or storytelling
- Passion for using creative expression as a tool for social change
- Excellent communication and mentorship skills
- Understanding of how writing can help individuals discover and articulate their purpose
- Ability to commit 10-15 hours weekly
- Dedication to our core principles: collaboration, humility, precision, patience, and empathy
