Position Summary:
As a Clinical Operations Intern, you will work closely with the management and clinical teams to support and improve operational processes. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated student with leadership potential and strong communication skills to gain hands-on experience in healthcare administration.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in optimizing clinical workflows and daily operations
Analyze performance metrics and generate reports using Microsoft Excel
Support special projects related to patient scheduling, compliance, and quality improvement
Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to identify and solve operational challenges
Participate in team meetings, offering insights and recommendations
Help implement new technologies and systems to streamline operations
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a Master of Health Administration (MHA), MBA (with a healthcare focus), or related program
Strong leadership acumen and excellent communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data visualization preferred)
Tech-savvy and quick to learn new software tools
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Additional Information:
This is a temporary internship position
CPT and OPT students are welcome to apply
Duration and weekly hours are flexible based on academic requirements
