Industries we work closely with include oil and gas, chemical, environmental, renewable fuels, pulp & paper, food & beverage, and water & wastewater. 

The Accounting Intern will have an opportunity to gain hands-on accounting experience and learn about the various aspects of the accounting function at TriNova.  TriNova internships provide entry-level professionals with real-world learning opportunities to help build future careers. 

The Accounting Intern will work directly under the supervision of the Director of Accounting but will assist other members of the accounting team.

Accounting Intern Responsibilities

• Shadow members of the Accounting department as they perform their duties
• Assist with research, filing, data entry, and record/maintain accurate financial records
• Learn and work with accounting/bookkeeping software
• Learn how to work as part of the Accounting Team to compile and analyze data, track information, and support the company
• Other duties as assigned

Accounting Intern Requirements

• Recent graduate or current undergraduate student at Senior level with studies in the areas of Accounting or Finance 
• High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Motivation and strong desire to take on new challenges and learn as much as possible
