As an Economic Advisory Services Intern, you’ll gain practical experience working with real-world economic data, cutting-edge forecasting tools, and seasoned industry professionals. This internship is designed to provide you with a solid foundation in economic analysis, modeling, and communication—skills that are critical in today’s data-driven decision-making environment.

Core Responsibilities

  • Report Generation: Assist in the creation of monthly customer forecast reports by analyzing key indicators, identifying trends, and developing forward-looking insights.
  • Presentation Support: Contribute to quarterly stakeholder presentations by designing visual aids, summarizing findings, and supporting the delivery of clear and actionable insights.
  • Model Refinement: Collaborate with senior economists to update and refine macroeconomic assumptions used in forecasting models, helping to improve their accuracy and reliability.
  • Data Audit and Automation: Review country-specific data in the Board Foresight database, identify gaps or inconsistencies, and develop automated solutions for governance, tagging, and improved data accessibility.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of economic indicators, data analysis techniques, and basic forecasting concepts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with statistical tools such as R or Python is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of data integrity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex analyses into clear, actionable takeaways.
