About the Role:
We are looking for an energetic and reliable Event Marketing Assistant to help support our marketing and community engagement efforts across Milwaukee. This role involves assisting with local sponsorship events, community tabling events, and other marketing activities. You’ll represent our brand at events, engage with attendees, help set up and tear down booths, manage swag inventory, and capture light content (photos/videos) during events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with setup and breakdown of marketing booths, tables, banners, signage, and materials.
• Greet and engage event attendees, share basic information about our services, and distribute promotional items.
• Maintain a friendly, professional, and approachable presence at all times.
• Track and manage event inventory, including swag items, brochures, and giveaways.
• Take photos and short video clips at events to capture community engagement and event highlights.
• Help transport, organize, and pack materials for events as needed.
• Support the marketing team with onsite event logistics and general tasks to ensure smooth operations.
• Report basic event information (e.g., estimated attendance, collected leads).

Qualifications:

• Outgoing, friendly, and comfortable speaking with new people.
• Basic familiarity with taking photos or short videos on a smartphone (no professional photography experience required).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and carry event materials (up to 30 lbs).
• Reliable transportation to and from event locations.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends based on event schedules.
• Previous experience in customer service, marketing, or events is a plus but not required.
