Licensing Program Analyst

The CA. Department of Social Services' Community Care Licensing Division (CCLD) is recruiting for a Licensing Program Analyst positions in Los Angeles County.

 

Job Description and Duties

Under the supervision of the Licensing Program Manager I in the Monterey Park South West Child Care Regional Office, the Child Care Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) is responsible for a full range of licensing duties which may include: develop and implement orientations, training programs; review applications; recommend license approval/denial; perform on-site facility evaluations; investigate complaints in licensed and unlicensed facilities; recommend and prepare administrative actions to deny, revoke, and suspend facility licenses.

Subject to fingerprinting and criminal record clearance by DOJ/FBI. This position requires lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds, climbing stairs, sitting for extended periods and using a computer and keyboard.

Working Conditions

Use of a computer for several hours a day which involves sitting most of the time but may include walking or standing for brief periods. Attend meetings, workshops and training associated with job duties.

This position may be eligible for hybrid telework under California Government Code Section 14200 for eligible applicants residing in California. All telework schedules are subject to change and may be reevaluated at any time. Specific telework arrangements may be discussed in more detail with the respective hiring manager. Telework does not change the terms and conditions of employment, the essential functions of job duties, or required compliance with the Department of Social Services policies. Please note, if this position is being advertised in multiple locations, the headquarter location will be designated based on the selected candidate's primary residence location, and/or the closest CDSS location.

Salary: $3,823 - $7,137 per Month
