Through legal action, public policy reform, and grassroots education, we work to hold government unions accountable and restore transparency in the public sector.

 

Development Internship

 

Position Summary:
The Development Intern will support the fundraising and donor relations efforts that make our mission possible. This position is ideal for students interested in nonprofit fundraising, donor engagement, and the inner workings of a fast-paced, mission-driven organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with donor communication, including thank-you letters, reports, and email updates
  • Conduct research on prospective donors, foundations, and grant opportunities
  • Help maintain and organize donor data in our CRM system (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Track and report on donation metrics and campaign performance
  • Support event planning and logistics for donor engagement opportunities
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency in development materials and messaging
  • Exercise a high degree of discretion and maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive donor information and internal records.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and organized with strong time-management skills
  • Interest in fundraising, nonprofit operations, or political advocacy
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets, databases, and online tools 
  • Passion for individual liberty, limited government, and the Freedom Foundation’s mission
