Junior Marketing Manager

Junior Marketing Manager 

Location: In-Office – Dallas, TX

Reports To: Director of Marketing Manager

Primary Contacts: Brand Presidents, Marketing Manager, Brand Ambassadors 

Typical Hours: Monday-Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM (Evenings and weekends will be required as needed and based

business needs)

Key Focus Areas: Marketing Support, Project Organization, Brand Representation, Customer Engagement, Event

Participation, Social Media Presence, Band Partnerships and Local Marketing 

 

Role Overview 

The Junior Marketing Manager will be responsible for representing and promoting their restaurant brand(s) by managing and implementing strategies to increase visibility and customer base. They will manage various channels via social media networks including, Instagram, Facebook, email marketing ect. to deliver a positive, persuasive, and cohesive marketing message to our guests. They will work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute strategies that drive brand awareness and loyalty.

 

This is an in-office position requiring close collaboration with the Brand Manager, Brand Presidents and Brand Ambassadors. As a hospitality-driven company, flexibility is essential—while standard office hours are Monday-Friday (9 AM - 5 PM), there will be evening and weekend work needed based on business priorities.

 

Key Responsibilities

Brand Representation 

  • In conjunction with the Marketing Director, serve as the face and voice of the restaurant brand at events, promotions, and online platforms.
  • Maintain a positive and consistent brand image in all interactions

 

Event Participation 

  • Partner with Marketing and Operations to schedule and organize marketing events for various restaurant brands and locations.
  • Attend and actively participate in promotional events, food festivals, and community activities.
  • Assist in the setup and teardown of promotional booths and displays

Social Media and Online Presence 

  • Own and manage organic and paid social media for restaurant brand(s), including content creation, copywriting, and scheduling.
  • Create engaging content for social media platforms, including photos, videos, and posts.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and feedback on social media channels in a meaningful manner.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop social media campaigns, email and sms blasts
  • Schedule social media posts with Marketing tools like Later, Planners, and Calendars.
  • Prepare accurate reports on marketing campaigns’ performance.
  • Oversee and manage all contests, giveaways, and other digital projects.

 

    Brand Partnerships

  • Identify and establish partnerships with local businesses and influencers to promote the restaurant.
  • Collaborate with partners to host joint events and promotions.
  • Create artwork to reflect the promotion

 

Local Store Marketing and Market Research

  • Participate in field marketing activities as needed. Distribute flyers, coupons, and other promotional materials in strategic locations.
  • Ensure that promotional materials are well-stocked and displayed properly.
  • Create canvassing lists for each restaurant location.
  • Gather feedback from customers and report insights to the marketing team.
  • Monitor competitor activities and industry trends to identify new opportunities

 

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in marketing, communications, or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in marketing, sales, customer service, or hospitality F+B, is required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong social media skills and familiarity with various platforms.
  • Experience with social scheduling software, email software, and loyalty software.
  • Up to date on the latest trends and technologies in digital marketing
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Energetic, outgoing, and approachable personality.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Willingness and ability to travel within the DFW area or nearby cities.
  • Must have reliable transportation to attend events and promotions.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance.
  • Passion for food and the restaurant industry.
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to safely lift, up to 25 pounds at times
  • Must possess reasonable ability to communicate in English
  • Must possess reasonable ability to communicate via phone and email
  • Ability to work on a computer for long periods of time
