Internship Summary:

Stellantis Financial Services is seeking motivated and dedicated interns to contribute to our team. Our internship program will last approximately 10-weeks. You will have the opportunity to work on projects and showcase your skills, talents, and abilities. Job Responsibilities:

Are you interested in working in a growing organization? We are looking for candidates to do the following in our Economics and Residual Management team in Dallas/Fort Worth:

  • What you will do:
    • Support the production and validation of advanced predictive/forecasting models.
    • Use quantitative and analytical skills to mine, process and analyze data using SAS, Python, SQL, R, MS Excel, and other business tools.
    • Develop and present analysis on performance, trends, and projections to upper management to facilitate business and strategic decisions.
    • Collaborate with team members and department leaders on execution of residual risk initiatives and assess performance.
    • Provide easy-to-understand, action-oriented analytical reports and other presentations to the management team.
    • Comply with company policies and procedures.
    • This position involves regular access to specified personal information of consumers, including, but not limited to, Social Security numbers and dates of birth.

Project(s):

You will have the opportunity to lead a project that consists of data analysis:

  • Use SQL/SAS to query databases to extract wanted information.
  • Combine/merge data from several different database sourced tables.
  • Leverage SAS/Python/R to run the production and/or validation of forecast models.
  • Produce and present summary reports of the forecast model output.
  • Interns will have the opportunity to prepare and facilitate presentations and communicate with operational leaders.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a current student pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Finance or other quantitative fields.
  • Must possess a minimum of a 3.0 overall GPA (out of a 4.0-point scale)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required
  • Interns will have opportunities to prepare and facilitate presentations and communicate with operational leaders
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Must live within a commutable distance to one of the following cities: Dallas, TX
