Hospitality and Marketing Assistant
Our client is a well-established, family-owned jewelry retailer based in Fairfield, Connecticut, known for their exceptional customer service and timeless collections. With a focus on creating memorable experiences, they are seeking a Hospitality and Marketing Assistant to support the owner and the store team across marketing, client engagement, and day-to-day operations. This is a full-time, onsite role based in Fairfield, CT.
Hospitality and Marketing Assistant’s Responsibilities and Duties
- Act as a personal assistant to the store owner, helping coordinate daily tasks, vendor communication, and inventory needs.
- Support sales staff with client facilitation, in-store tasks, and ensuring team-wide updates and training completion.
- Welcome and engage clients in-store; offer refreshments and create a warm, inviting environment.
- Oversee event coordination efforts including client invitations, preparation, and follow-up.
- Gift wrapping and occasional support with merchandising or visual displays.
- Execute and monitor all marketing initiatives, including social media (Instagram, etc.), billboard, digital, and print advertising.
- Maintain store’s online presence and collaborate with external partners on marketing deliverables.
- Some travel may be required to assist with special events or offsite promotions.
Hospitality and Marketing Assistant’s Qualifications and Skills
- Prior experience in marketing, hospitality, or luxury retail environments preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a proactive and service-driven attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a polished and professional demeanor.
- Comfort working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that may occasionally require flexibility beyond standard hours.
- Familiarity with social media platforms (especially Instagram) and basic marketing principles.
- Local to the Fairfield area with the ability to work onsite full-time; occasional remote flexibility possible in the future.
