Job Description
Job Title Engineering Co Op / Intern Date: May 2025
Reports To: VP/GM
Summary Objective: American Fan is seeking a highly motivated Engineering Intern to join our team. As an Intern, you will be taking on impactful work while engaging in a dynamic learning experience and working side by side with our team.
General requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and O365 Drive Suites – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Proficiency in **CAD software** (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar).
- Must have access to reliable transportation
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening
- Must be willing to comply with pre-employment screening, including but not limited to, drug testing, reference verification and background check. Will be required to submit to a post offer drug test and criminal background check.
- Ability to work independently or in a group setting.
- Effective communication skills to interact with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a history of cross-functional collaboration
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required

- The opportunity to receive hands-on, entry level, professional work experience in the areas of include but not limited to:
- Create, update, and manage detailed **CAD layouts** of the plant floor, including machinery, workflow lines, utilities, and infrastructure.
- Support layout optimization and production flow analysis in coordination with manufacturing and industrial engineering teams.
- Perform **ad hoc engineering tasks**, such as technical research, report preparation, and data entry.
- Participate in design reviews, plant walk-throughs, and implementation of continuous improvement projects
- Additional learning experiences outside of daily work including trainings and workplace growth activities
