Business Development Intern
The Role:
Boundless Creative is looking for a sharp, self-starting Business Development Intern to join our growing team this summer (with potential to extend into the fall). If you're excited by the idea of helping a high-growth video production agency land dream clients, getting to meet top business leaders, and learning the process behind landing clients, this is for you.
You'll work directly with our founder and small team to research leads, build outreach strategies, develop creative lead magnets, and set qualified meetings. Over time, you'll help expand our biz dev playbook and be able to earn commissions for bringing in work that closes.
Sales experience isn't necessary, but a willingness to learn, experiment, and grow is!
About Us:
Boundless Creative is a NYC-based, award-winning production studio crafting story-driven videos for brands shaping the future. Since 2021, we've produced branded mini-docs, launch films, and commercials for clients like Vogue, Shopify, and Barclays across 15+ cities in 3 countries.
We’re a small, fast-moving, creative team, and we’re scaling quickly. That’s where you come in.
What You’ll Do:
- Research and identify potential clients (largely tech, nonprofit, and brands)
- Write and send cold outbound messages via email and LinkedIn in order to schedule meetings between qualified leads and the founder
- Build outreach lists and track progress in Notion and Google Sheets
- Analyze competitors and suggest new outbound strategies
You’ll Thrive If You:
- Love the intersection of creative work and business
- Want to learn about sales
- Aren’t afraid to cold message a CMO
- Have experience or interest in content, storytelling, or video production
- Think proactively and love bringing new ideas to the table
- Are familiar with (or eager to learn) tools like Notion, Google Sheets, and AI-based research tools
The Details:
- Pay: $16.50/hour + potential for commissions
- Schedule: ~20 hours/week to start, with flexibility to ramp up
- Location: Hybrid – we’re based in Williamsburg and in-person time is encouraged to connect with the team
- Timeline: Summer internship with the possibility to extend into fall and beyond
How to Apply:
Apply with your resume and a few sentences on why you’d crush this role. Bonus points for telling us one company you think we should be working with - and how you’d get in the door!
