Biology & Robotics Internships
We are seeking highly motivated interns to join our research and development team, with opportunities available in both biology and engineering/software development. Interns will work on individual projects that align with their background and interests, contributing to our interdisciplinary efforts in biotech and nanoscience.
- For students with a background in biology, this is an exciting chance to gain hands-on experience with real-world experiments, learn cutting-edge lab techniques, and contribute to impactful research in a dynamic lab setting.
- For those with experience in robotics, computer science, electrical engineering, or related fields, the internship offers an opportunity to design, develop, and maintain custom software and hardware tools that support biological research. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interdisciplinary problem-solving and applying technical skills in a scientific context.
Each intern will have the chance to make meaningful contributions through individual projects while gaining exposure to a collaborative and innovative research environment.

We empower our interns and employees to explore real-world questions, develop hands-on skills, and drive innovation in biology, robotics, and laboratory automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Choose and execute a research project (from a provided list or create your own)
- Document your progress via GoogleDocs, YouTube shorts, pictures, etc.
- Present your work weekly over the course of the term as well as a final recorded presentation
Qualifications
- Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Proficiency in GoogleDocs, GoogleSheets, etc.
- Depending on the nature of your project, knowledge of the following:
- Basic laboratory skills and lab safety
- Scripting languages such as Python, C++, etc.
- Familiarity with Raspberry Pi and other hardware programming tools
