Marketing Intern

Overview:

GFP Private Wealth is an investment management and financial planning firm located in downtown Cleveland, with a legacy of nearly 50 years. Female-founded and female-led, GFP is growing by attracting new clients and additional talent to the team. We recently rebranded from “Gries Financial Partners” and have been working to update all our public-facing materials via a soft launch. The marketing intern position was created to assist the CEO with numerous tasks related to the rebranding, as well as ongoing sales/business generation support for the overall team. 

Details:

• This position is on-site in downtown Cleveland, Ohio, and pays $20/hour.
• Business casual attire is required. Occasionally, business formal and cocktail attire will be required, especially for client meetings and events. 
• This position is initially intended for summer 2025 but may extend beyond for the right individual, contingent on business needs. 
• Normal business hours are 8:30 am – 5 pm, with an hour for lunch. 
• This position is intended to be full-time for the summer (30 - 40 hours/week), but may be available part time (15 – 20 hours/week) in the fall. 

Specific Duties Include:

• Developing and formalizing templates for marketing materials and proposals. 
• Social media posts.
• LinkedIn support and standardization for company page and individual employee pages. 
• Distribution list management and re-organization.  
• Client entertainment support for special events.
• General administrative and operational assistance for the office as necessary for various projects and initiatives. 

Skills Required:

• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong writing and proofreading.
• Proficiency with PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Canva and related software and apps.
• Strong verbal communication and collaboration abilities. 
• Time and project management; ability to meet deadlines.
