Private Event Intern
About the Role:
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Private Event Intern to join our events team! This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in event planning and execution. You'll assist in organizing and running private events—from weddings and showers to corporate functions—and get a behind-the-scenes look at how successful events come together.
Responsibilities:
Support Event Manager with day-of coordination, setup, and breakdown
Help with vendor communication, timeline tracking, and event prep
Assist in client meetings and final walkthroughs
Ensure event spaces are clean, organized, and ready for guests
Provide on-site guest assistance with a professional and friendly attitude
Help with administrative tasks, including contracts, floor plans, and follow-up emails
Requirements:
Weekend and evening availability required
Strong communication and organizational skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple tasks
Positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed
Must be 18+ and able to lift up to 30 lbs
Event or hospitality experience is a plus, but not required
