Are you a design student with a passion for creativity, an eye for detail, and a love for the outdoors? As a Graphic Design Intern at Pure Fishing, you’ll dive into hands-on design projects that bring our iconic brands to life. Whether you’re working on packaging concepts, logos, or marketing materials, this is your chance to turn your ideas into real-world impact—all while learning from a talented and collaborative team in our Columbia, SC office.

 

What will you do:

  • Design & Create – Support the development of visual assets for product design, packaging, and branding.
  • Prep & Organize – Prepare files for print and manage digital assets across various projects.
  • Research Trends – Stay on top of current design trends and best practices to keep your work fresh and relevant.
  • Keep It On Brand – Help ensure design consistency across all platforms and product lines.
  • Collaborate & Communicate – Work closely with the design, photography, and marketing teams to bring ideas to life.
  • Learn & Grow – Take part in training, ask questions, get feedback, and build your professional design skills.

Your work environment:

Based at our Columbia, SC office, you’ll be immersed in a creative studio vibe where collaboration is key and no two days look the same. Expect to juggle projects, take part in brainstorms, and build your portfolio while working alongside designers, marketers, and product developers.

 

What you will need to succeed:

  • Currently enrolled in a Graphic Design or related program.
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Understanding of color theory, typography, and design principles.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • A portfolio (even if it’s a work-in-progress!) is a big plus.
  • Willingness to take and apply feedback to improve your craft.
