Communications Media Design Internship - Remote

Help Maryland Pesticide Education Network mount effective communications campaigns for its programs while you practice the key skills of effective environmental communication and advocacy. Assist with other MPEN programs in public policy, public health, climate change, sustainable agricultures, organic living, and Chesapeake Bay watershed protection.

Our work is diverse and fast-paced, so your responsibilities may include:

Participating, supporting meetings
Producing graphics for social media, web and print 
Supporting Instagram campaigns
Producing and editing videos
Assisting with developing social media toolkits and website content
Assisting with updating our two websites in Wordpress
Using ChatGBT in content prep
Assisting with administrative, research, and information requests
Writing blog posts and other educational materials

You will come away with transferable skills, a body of work, valuable contacts, and experience in one of the nation’s most effective coalitions, with a stronger resume and the satisfaction of doing meaningful work “protecting Maryland’s babies, bees and the Bay.” Join us!
