Assisted Living Supervisor at Hillview Health Care Campus
Lead the Future of Dementia Care and Crisis Stabilization in La Crosse County!
Are you a passionate leader ready to innovate in dementia care and crisis management? Hillview Health Care Campus is seeking an Assisted Living Supervisor to oversee our new 39-bed Community-Based Residential Facility (CBRF), which includes a specialized 4-bed Dementia Crisis Stabilization Unit. This is your chance to impact residents' lives while leading a team dedicated to compassionate, person-centered care.
Why Hillview?
Pioneering Dementia Care: Lead a team providing long-term support and immediate crisis interventions for residents with complex needs.
Innovation Meets Compassion: Drive clinical excellence while maintaining Hillview’s compassionate, resident-centered care reputation.
Supportive Transition: While you’ll have oversight of Carroll Heights (Independent Living) and Hillview Terrace (RCAC), these established entities are stable and require minimal transformation. An interim supervisor will continue to support these programs until the CBRF is fully operational, allowing you to concentrate on the start-up phase for the CBRF.
Scenic Work-Life: Nestled in the beautiful La Crosse area, enjoy a fulfilling career in a peaceful, nature-inspired setting.
What You’ll Do:
- Supervise daily operations across assisted living and residential programs.
- Lead staff in developing innovative care models for dementia and crisis stabilization.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and manage budgets, contracts, and staffing.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver exceptional care.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, human services, or related fields is preferred. Advanced certifications in dementia care are a plus.
- Experience: At least one year of experience in healthcare settings with direct contact with the elderly or individuals with dementia is required, as is two years of leadership experience, ideally in a CBRF environment.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal communication, crisis management, budgeting, and staff training skills are required. Familiarity with DHS 83, 88, and 89 regulations is preferred.
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., in-person
- Participate in and provide oversight for on-call rotation. As the supervisor, you manage after-hours call-ins during the week. Household Coordinators manage weekends in an on-call rotation with your supervision.
