**Schedule:** 100% Flexible (5-10 hours per week)

## Purpose Mentor Program Overview

The Purpose Mentor Program connects aspiring coaches and mentors with college students seeking guidance in discovering their purpose and aligning their personal values with their career aspirations. Through our core principles of collaboration, humility, precision, patience, and empathy, mentors will guide students through a transformative journey of self-discovery and professional development.

## Program Objectives

- Foster meaningful mentor-mentee relationships grounded in personal values and development
- Guide students in developing career plans that align with their purpose and calling
- Provide support during critical career and life decisions
- Create a supportive community of purpose-driven professional development
- Develop practical mentorship skills essential for future coaching careers

## Mentor Qualifications

**Required:**
- Strong commitment to personal growth and development
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Commitment to servant leadership
- Access to reliable internet for remote meetings

**Eligible Participants:**
- Current students pursuing degrees in relevant fields (Psychology, Human Resources, Education, Social Work, Counseling, or related areas)
- Working professionals interested in sharing career lessons and experiences
- Retired individuals with valuable life and career wisdom to share
- Individuals with passion for helping others discover their purpose
- Graduate students (for academic credit)

## Time Commitment

- 5-10 hours per week
- Flexible scheduling to accommodate academic responsibilities
- Weekly mentor-mentee meetings (1 hour)
- Bi-weekly team meetings with program leaders (1 hour)

## Core Responsibilities

### 1. Individual Mentorship

- Host weekly virtual meetings with assigned students
- Provide career guidance and professional development support
- Offer encouragement and personal development resources
- Help students identify their core values, strengths, and purpose
- Guide students in setting and achieving meaningful goals
- Assist in identifying internship and job opportunities aligned with purpose

### 2. Purpose Integration

- Lead discussions on finding purpose in professional settings
- Share personal journeys of purpose discovery
- Guide students in exploring their unique gifts and talents
- Incorporate core principles (collaboration, humility, precision, patience, and empathy) into goal-setting and decision-making

### 3. Program Development

- Collaborate with program directors on continuous improvement
- Document mentorship best practices
- Create purpose-driven career development resources
- Participate in mentor training and development

## Program Structure

**Weeks 1-2: Onboarding**
- Program orientation and training
- Mentor-mentee matching
- Goal-setting workshop
- Core principles introduction

**Weeks 3-10: Core Program**
- Weekly one-on-one mentoring sessions
- Bi-weekly group development meetings
- Monthly professional development workshops
- Ongoing support and guidance

**Weeks 11-12: Program Conclusion**
- Final assessment and feedback
- Celebration of growth and achievements
- Transition planning
- Program evaluation and recommendations
