Guardian Digital is an Internet security company that protects business email from online threats like spam and viruses. We've developed an innovative way to stop these threats and have been implementing it in businesses around the world for over 20 years.

We're looking for a talented Senior majoring in computer science or MIS/CIS and interested in helping to create content for us, promoting our brand, and using available analytics to identify our audience, where they go on our websites, and what we can do to engage with them. This involves social media efforts, utilizing our existing blog content to create new content, helping to coordinate community contributions, managing our social media accounts, assisting with scheduling and event planning, using analytics to identify trends and discover new content sources, and more.

You will support our social media team, website developers, and system administrators, while also managing your own projects.

As a Guardian Digital intern, you will be expected to bring new and creative ideas to the table. You will work with the marketing team to expand upon Guardian Digital’s social media presence, therefore, driving potential clients to our website and social media properties. You will need to know the latest social media trends and how Guardian Digital can use them to increase brand awareness successfully. We've recently started creating new video content, and would love your involvement with continuing that development.

This position could lead to a full-time position for the right candidate.

Qualifications:

  • Strong working knowledge of social media platforms and trends (YouTube, LI, X)
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity or open source
  • Great organization skills
  • Analytical mind
  • Basic understanding of visual aesthetic principles.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, the ability to take initiative and set priorities

This is a home-based position and open to residents of the 50 states and D.C. Must be able to work EST hours.
