Our CIO, Eddie Esparza, is a visionary investor, educator, and storyteller with a mission to make real estate investing approachable, especially during times of economic uncertainty like inflation or recession.
Internship Overview:
We’re looking for a Social Media Intern to support the personal brand of our CIO, Eddie Esparza, across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. You’ll help create content that informs, inspires, and educates audiences on building wealth through real estate investing, economic insights, and personal finance storytelling.
This is a unique opportunity to learn the ins and outs of digital branding while building your portfolio in a high-growth, purpose-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, edit, and schedule high-quality content for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
- Support video content creation by editing short-form clips and adding captions, headlines, or music for social media consumption
- Design visual content using tools like Canva for educational posts and story-driven content
- Write engaging captions that reflect Eddie's voice and provide value to the audience
- Highlight real estate markets we’re analyzing, current economic trends (e.g., interest rates, inflation, unemployment), and how they relate to real estate investment
- Help share personal stories, passive investing lessons, and behind-the-scenes moments to humanize the brand
- Stay on top of social trends to improve engagement and reach
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent written communication and creative storytelling skills
- Proficiency in Canva or other design tools for social media visuals
- Experience or strong interest in short-form video editing (CapCut, InShot, Adobe Rush, etc.)
- Familiarity with Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Facebook content styles and trends
- Interest in personal finance, entrepreneurship, real estate, or the economy
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and consistency
- Bonus: Experience managing social content calendars or working with influencers/brands
Minimum Requirements:
- Current undergraduate or graduate student in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or related fields
- Must be available for 10-20 hours per week
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Portfolio or examples of past work (personal accounts, school projects, etc.) encouraged
