
Community and Event Planning Internship

Bish is a functional food & beverage company, focused on creating nutritional solutions tailored to the unique needs of women and individuals with a female reproductive system.
Our first product is a better-for-you protein bar that supports hormone balance, menstrual health, and mood-without compromising on taste or vibes.

What you'll do:
As our community and event planning intern, you’ll help us bring the Bish world to life online and IRL. From planning wellness meetups to curating bold activations, you’ll be at the heartbeat of how we show up outside the feed. Your responsibilities will include:
- Brainstorming creative, buzzworthy activations that feel true to the brand
- Helping organize and execute community events and pop-ups in SF
- Supporting outreach to college campuses, gyms, and local wellness communities
- Coordinating digital RSVP pages, email invites, and follow-ups
- Assisting with speaker and vendor sourcing for IRL and digital events
- Tracking event success and gathering content for post-event marketing
- Helping manage our private Facebook & IG communities
- Collaborating with the social team to cross-promote events and community moments
- Staying up to date on cool wellness events, trends, and community-led marketing
Skills & Qualifications:
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Event Planning, Public Relations, or a related field
- Previous experience planning or supporting events (on campus, online, or in your community)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with social media platforms, online communities, and event tools (Eventbrite, Google Forms, etc.
Bonus point if you:
- Know how to throw together a pop-up activation on a budget
- Have experience with CRM or email tools (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, etc)
- Are passionate about wellness, hormone health, and body positivity
Who you are:
- A natural connector who loves meeting new people and creating good vibes
- Obsessed with community, women’s wellness, and a good IRL moment
- Comfortable juggling logistics with creativity (yes, you can plan AND party)
- Proactive and not afraid to DM someone, book a room, or get scrappy
- A team player who shows up with ideas, energy, and heart
- Excited to help build something meaningful from the ground up

Practicalities:
- Location: San Francisco (in-office preferred)
- Start Date: May-June 2025
- Type: Part-time or full-time, depending on availability
- Duration: 3-6 months, with significant potential to grow into a long-term or full-time role
- Compensation: School credit, product and events perks, portfolio-building opportunities, and potential paid compensation based on experience and qualifications.
