Technician for Aquatic Plant Harvesting

Are you looking for a great outdoor summer job where you can be on a lake every day? The Nepco Lake District needs technicians for its aquatic plant harvesting operations. You will operate all harvesting equipment, perform daily inspections and maintenance, and a variety of other tasks while enjoying an outdoor job on a beautiful lake.

Duties include:

• Operate a large harvesting machine in prescribed areas of the lake
• Unload harvested plants from the harvesting equipment to a conveyor trailer
• Drive a pick-up truck to haul trailer loads of plants to a nearby disposal site
• Refuel, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment
• Identify aquatic plants
