
Biology Competition Instructor & Curriculum Teacher (USABO/BBO, A-Level/IB/AP/IGCSE)
Principal Responsibilities Include:
- Deliver instruction for biology competitions such as USABO (USA Biology Olympiad) and BBO (British Biology Olympiad).
- Teach biology courses within international curricula, including A-Level, IB, AP, and IGCSE.
- Conduct in-depth research and collaboration to refine teaching methodologies, develop course materials, and optimize lecture notes and resources.
- Stay updated with the latest exam trends, analyze question patterns, and produce exam guides and research-based educational articles.
- Maintain student progress records, design personalized tutoring plans, and deliver instruction both online and offline.
Basic Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in Biology, Life Sciences, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience teaching biology courses or preparing students for competitions.
- Proficient in both English and Mandarin (written and verbal), with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse cultural and geographical contexts.
- Strong communication, adaptability, logical reasoning, and interpersonal skills; charismatic and influential teaching style.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
- Detail-oriented, with excellent analytical and organizational capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Graduated from a top-tier university (QS World University Rankings top 200).
- Prior experience studying or teaching in an international school environment.
