Jumet Financial is seeking a highly efficient and detail-oriented individual with the same strong standards to fill the Marketing and Communications Associate Role. The position requires a high level of confidentiality and professionalism, excellent time and project management skills and the ability to manage multiple work streams (both internal and external) at once. The qualified candidate must show high regard to current trends to be able to reach clients and prospective clients effectively. The individual must have a desire to continue their education and skill development toward managing and building a marketing team to help advance the business’ strategic marketing plan as a whole.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Elevate the marketing platform by creating a strategic marketing plan to help target untapped markets, as well as having continued success in current markets.
- Collaborate with Managing Director and other department managers to assist in development of marketing strategies and branding efforts.
- Work directly with internal management as well as external project managers, designers, social media, and content teams to design and implement key marketing campaigns.
- Perform competitive research to understand what’s happening in the market, and incorporate your findings into each campaign for better results.
- Conduct analysis to determine the effectiveness of each marketing campaign
- Collaborate with others to oversee our website design and content marketing (blog, social media assets and more)
- Help bring new ideas for design and content creation
- Increase efficiency in social media interactions, email responses, and other marketing channels
- Create shareable content appropriate for specific networks to spread both our brand and our content
- Engage in relevant social discussions about our company, competitors, and industry, both from existing leads and customers as well as brand new audiences.
- Maintain all website data and social media accounts
- Organize and plan client events and delegate where necessary
- Other assigned duties from management
- All Jumet Financial employees are required to help serve our community through initiatives planned by the Jumet Financial Team
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary associate degree in progress or in business related field, ideally with a marketing concentration, and willingness to continue education towards certifications and/or advanced degrees
- Strong passion to work in and succeed in the financial industry
- Willingness to obtain various licenses (upon request)
- Excellent Computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Canva, Constant Contact, Website Design, Etc.)
- Excellent communication skills (spelling, grammar and proofreading written skills and verbal skills)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
