Public Relations Specialist

Join Our Creative Team as a Public Relations Content Specialist!

Are you passionate about storytelling, social media, and community engagement? Are you ready to use your creative talents to make a real difference? Progressive Directions, Inc. (PDI) is seeking a dynamic Public Relations Content Specialist to bring our mission to life through powerful digital content, photography, and video.

What You’ll Do:

  • Create compelling content for social media, email campaigns, newsletters, press releases, and websites
  • Shoot and edit videos/photos to highlight our programs, events, and client success stories
  • Manage multiple social platforms—including content calendars and engagement strategies
  • Support community and staff events, assist with planning and promotion
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure brand consistency and creativity
  • Track content performance and trends to keep us fresh, relevant, and engaging

You’re a Great Fit If You:

  • Have Experience in Social media management, content creation, or marketing
  • Know your way around Canva, Google Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, or WordPress
  • Creativity and experience with photography and videography
  • Have a passion for storytelling—through writing, photography, and video
  • Thrive in a creative, fast-paced environment and love collaborating with a team
  • Are organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Bonus Points For:
  • Experience in nonprofit or mission-driven work
  • Skills in event coordination and community outreach
  • Familiarity with website management and analytics

Tools You Might Use:

  • Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Workspace
  • WordPress, social media schedulers, video/photo editing tools

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
