Program Manager (AX1719)

AI Signal Research, Inc. (ASRI) is recruiting for a senior Program Manager to be based in Dahlgren, Virginia.  This position will oversee and manage all aspects of assigned technical services contract within the Navy operations business unit for ASRI focused on ensuring customer mission excellence while expanding our customer business base.  This position will be a critical contributor to the ASRI Leadership Team and is a unique opportunity for the right candidate to be a key enabler of reaching company strategic goals.

 

Education:  Bachelor’s degree or higher in an applicable technical/management discipline is required. Master’s degree and professional development including honors, publications, professional licenses, and certifications along with similar evidence of professional accomplishments is desired.

 

Months/Years of Experience: Minimum of Ten (10) years professional experience in technical/management areas related to the research, development, testing, evaluation, and/or operations of major combat weapon systems. Minimum of Six (6) years applicable program/project management and organizational leadership/supervisory experience.  Desired experience to include managing personnel, workforce staffing (recruiting/retention), financial management, reporting, implementing quality standards, life cycle planning, and cost estimating.  Desired experience in business development to include opportunity capture planning and proposal development. 

 

Required Qualifications:  U.S. Citizen. Security Clearance Required.  The applicant must have a thorough understanding of the DoD and/or Department of Navy organization and operations.  The applicant must be a motivated self-starter, critical thinker, strategic planner, and proven leader with attention to detail. Candidate must be a team player and have strong demonstrated written/oral communication skills.

 

Desired Qualifications:  Expertise with US Navy Weapon Systems and understanding of the overall DoD/Navy systems research, development, testing, evaluation, and acquisition system enterprise. Expertise/Training in DoD Acquisition Policy, Business Development Processes, Strategic Planning, Organizational Development, and Talent Recruiting/Retention/Development Strategies.

Duties: Include personnel mgmt. and recruiting, contract management and compliance, implementation of program controls, financial tracking and management to budget, contract reporting/documentation development and delivery on schedule, customer relations, and strategic business development.
