USC Athletics Marketing Game Day Intern

The USC Athletic Marketing Department is seeking energetic, dedicated, and self-motivated individuals to fill the position of game day intern for the 2025-2026 academic year. This internship is geared towards students interested in gaining sports marketing & event production experience. 

Work behind the scenes at Galen Center and at the L.A. Memorial Coliseum to gain incomparable experience by working events at USC Football, Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Women’s Soccer, Men’s and Women’s Volleyball, Baseball, and more! 

Hourly Position: $18.00

Responsibilities: 

- Assist in the execution of sponsored elements such as on-field/court performances, promotions, and contests

- Assist with game day preparations prior to the day of the event 

- Assist with branding student initiatives 

- Plan and/or assist with special events on campus and at Galen Center 

- Opportunity for other duties not listed above 

Requirements: 

- Must be able to commit one academic year to the internship 

-Must be able to (5) events a month(Fall/Winter).  Events include working at least: 

  • (4) USC Home Football Games
  • (7) USC Home Men’s Basketball
  • (7) USC Home Women's Basketball
  • (4) USC Home Women’s Volleyball
  • (4) USC Home Women’s Soccer
  • (TBD) USC Men’s Water Polo

 -Spring events include a minimum (5) events a month.  Events include:

  • Baseball
  • Men’s Volleyball
  • Beach Volleyball
  • Women’s Lacrosse
  • Women’s Water Polo
  • Men’s & Women’s Tennis
  • Other athletic events

- Possess a positive attitude, enthusiasm, responsibility, initiative, passion, and work ethic necessary to success as a member of the overall Marketing team 

- Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently in pressure situations 

- Be willing to work nights, weekends, and potential academic breaks as required by home game schedules - Demonstrate the ability to treat this internship as a real job to fulfill the requirements and overall goals of the position 

- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn about the sports industry
