Project Coordinator
THE ROLE:
The Project Coordinator is an integral member of the project team responsible for directing, organizing and controlling project activities, under the direction of a Project Manager (PM).
SALARY RANGE: 65K TO 73K
RESPONSABILITIES
- Communicate with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives;
- Review plans and specifications with project managers.
- Identify long lead-time items and begin pricing;
- Work with owner and architect to ensure that all final governmental agency approvals are obtained;
- Monitor and track project’s progress and handle any issues that arise;
- Issue all appropriate legal paperwork;
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports;
- Get and prepare product samples to be submitted for Architects and Designs approval;
- Attend client meetings and assist with determination of project requirements;
- Assist the PM in the drafting and issuance of project proposals, budgets, and preliminary schedules;
- Prepare project organization and communication charts;
- Track the progress and quality of work being performed by Subcontractor/trades;
- Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the client and project team;
- Ensure clients’ needs are met in a timely and cost effective manner;
- Maintain Contract Execution Tracking Log;
- Track & manage contemplated change notices and change orders;
- Prepare substantial completion certificates and ensure all required project close out documents are obtained;
- Keep the Project Manager (PM) and others informed about project status and issues that may impact client relations;
- Special projects as directed.
