Business Development Intern

Role: Business Development Intern – Clean Energy Infrastructure

 

About Enerclave:

Enerclave is building the transaction and intelligence layer for America’s new energy grid. We help commercial property owners monetize unused power and real estate by matching it with high-demand electric use cases—like EV charging, battery storage, and industrial electrification.

 

Role Overview:

We’re looking for a scrappy, entrepreneurial Business Development Intern to help us grow our supply and demand partnerships. You’ll work directly with the founding team to source commercial properties, pitch to charge point operators, and refine our go-to-market playbook. This is an opportunity to join a fast-moving climate tech company at the ground floor and have real ownership in building a business that matters.

 

Responsibilities:

• Source and reach out to commercial property owners across the US

• Identify and qualify sites with potential for EV charging and energy infrastructure

• Support sales outreach to EV charging operators and battery developers

• Research industry trends and competitive landscape

• Help build playbooks and tooling to scale our business development efforts

• Participate in strategy sessions with founders and external partners

 

 

Qualifications:

• Passion for climate, infrastructure, or energy

• Strong communication skills – written and verbal

• Hustle mindset – you enjoy getting creative to open doors

• Experience with sales, partnerships, or real estate is a plus

• Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced startup environment

• Current undergraduate or graduate student, ideally with business, sustainability, or engineering background
