Position Description The Recruitment Manager at St. Augustine Preparatory Academy (Aug Prep) North Campus plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of our school community. This individual will lead the student recruitment efforts for the North Campus, which will open in the 2026–2027 school year with a target of 300 students, growing to 1,000 students within 7-10 years. This person must have a deep desire to attract a diverse student body (socio-economically, culturally and racially) to our new campus. The position demands a strategic mindset and a hands-on approach to ensure that recruitment targets are met and that our student body reflects the rich diversity and values central to Aug Prep's mission. The person must also be highly relational, able to connect with and build relationships with families from a variety of backgrounds.

Job Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract new students and families to the North Campus.
  • Organize and lead recruitment events, open houses, school tours, and information sessions to showcase the school's programs and facilities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with feeder schools, community organizations, churches, and other potential referral sources.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Department to develop effective recruitment materials, digital content, and campaigns that highlight the unique value proposition of Aug Prep.
  • Represent Aug Prep at educational fairs, community events, and other outreach activities to enhance the school's visibility.
  • Conduct initial screenings and informational meetings with prospective families.
  • Provide a personalized onboarding experience for families interested in paying tuition to attend Aug Prep. This includes one-on-one consultations, assistance with the financial aid application, and proactive check-ins to address questions with the enrollment process.
  • Serve as a dedicated point of contact to help families navigate the key milestones of the enrollment process, ensuring families feel informed, welcomed, and confident as they join our school community.
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of prospective students to meet enrollment targets for the North Campus.
  • Collect and analyze recruitment data to assess the effectiveness of various strategies and adjust approaches as needed.
  • As the campus grows toward the 1,000 student target, build and manage a recruitment team to support the expanding campus needs.
  • Collaborate with the Enrollment Manager to ensure a smooth transition from recruitment to enrollment.
  • Develop and implement retention strategies in partnership with the Family Department.
  • Report on progress towards recruitment goals and other key metrics for the North Campus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in education outreach, marketing, or recruitment.
  • Experience with community outreach and relationship building.
  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A results-oriented, entrepreneurial professional with a commitment to serving the whole child with excellence – mind, body and soul.
  • Comfortable representing the school in large and small group settings.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to manage complex projects and execute plans effectively.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and data analysis tools.
  • Commitment to the values and vision of Aug Prep, including our emphasis on faith, family, academics, and athletics/arts.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships with team, parents, and our diverse community.
  • Ability to quickly and efficiently find solutions to problems and diffuse difficult situations.
  • Participating member of a church.
