JOB SUMMARY

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Web Developer Intern with a passion for WordPress. In this role, you’ll support our team in building, updating, and maintaining The Social Institute website. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience, work on real projects, and grow your development skills in a collaborative environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist with developing and customizing WordPress themes and plugins
  • Help update website content, layouts, and functionality
  • Support site optimization for performance and responsiveness
  • Troubleshoot basic website issues and bugs
  • Collaborate with the team to bring new ideas to life

What We’re Looking For:

  • Familiarity with WordPress, HTML, CSS, and basic PHP
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative
  • Strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

  • Paid internship (starting at $16/hour)
  • Flexibility on start/end dates and hours per week
