Behavior Therapist/ Certified Behavior Technician

WBS strives to provide high-quality applied behavior analysis (ABA) treatment to help children with autism reach their full potential in the most FUN-ducational way! We are seeking fun, energetic and dedicated CBTs who enjoy working with children, and have an interest in special education, psychology, child development, or a related field.

Availability: Part-time (morning (9-12), afternoon(12:30-3:30) or evening (4-6) shift M-F) or full time

Locations:

AUBURN   (M-F)

PUYALLUP   (M-F)

9-12PM

12:30-3:30PM

4-6 PM

Compensation: $19.00-$26.00/hr. DOE

Job Requirements:

  • Certified Behavior Technician License (preferred) or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
  • RBT Certification (preferred)
  • Maintain reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and insurance
  • At least 6 months of relevant experience preferred.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.

Additional Job Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
  • Must pass background check
  • Energetic, fun attitude and desire to help children succeed!

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma and currently enrolled in college/university with 2 years of college coursework completed in psychology/related field, OR
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology/related field

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • implement treatment plans developed by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) addressing communication, behavior, adaptive, and social skill needs
  • Monitor the progress of clients and work closely with the BCBA to update treatment plans as necessary
  • Collect accurate data throughout the session
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment for patients and family.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Communicate effectively with supervising BCBA/BCaBA
