Thriving Private Practice Associate Opportunity

Job Description: Associate Veterinarian
Location: Portland, Oregon

Are you a compassionate and experienced veterinarian looking to join a well-established, boutique practice with a strong community presence? We are seeking an Associate Veterinarian with at least 3 years of experience to join our AAHA-accredited clinic in Portland, Oregon. This is a unique opportunity for someone passionate about providing high-quality care and interested in potential practice ownership.

About the Practice

Located at a historic site operating as a veterinary practice for over 60 years, our clinic is a cornerstone of the community. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional care in a low-stress, supportive environment with advanced technology and a commitment to the highest standards of medicine.

Our facility includes:

  • Advanced Technology: Panoramic digital dental x-ray, in-house lab, digital x-ray, and ultrasound
  • Well-Equipped Facility: 3 exam rooms, procedure room, surgery suite, kennel, treatment area, and 2 offices

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general surgeries and medical procedures
  • Diagnose and treat a variety of patients, including cats, dogs, backyard fowl, and pocket pets
  • Provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients and educate clients on pet health and wellness
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to foster a loyal patient base

Work Schedule

  • Monday to Thursday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (with a 1-hour lunch)
  • No weekends, on-call, or after-hours shifts

Compensation and Benefits

  • ProSal with a minimum base salary of $130K, plus 21% production (commensurate with experience)
  • Equity bonus after 1 year of employment
