Graphic Design Intern

Position Description

Centerline Biomedical, Inc. is seeking a creative and motivated Graphic Design Intern (Non-Exempt/Part Time) to join our Marketing Department. As an intern, you will assist in developing visually compelling designs that represent our brand and products. You’ll work closely with our team to create impactful graphics for digital and print materials, supporting our current and future products. This hands-on role allows you to be part of a fast-paced, innovative environment, where attention to detail and a passion for design will be key in producing high-quality visual assets that align with our commitment to be a new way to envision endovascular navigation.

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Illustrate concepts by designing draft layouts of art and copy including arrangement, overall style and aesthetics, font size and type
  • Edit, revise and translate drafts into final designs and create all multichannel deliverables as determined by marketing plans and project details
  • Produce or support creation of in-situ/ex-situ device illustrations for further use in marketing collateral
  • Edit photographs for further use in marketing collateral
  • Provide feedback on existing and new marketing pieces 
  • Attends weekly project/team meetings as assigned 
  • Follow all company policies including, but not limited to, quality, compliance, accurate and timely expense reporting and time card submission
  • Additional duties, as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications, Education, and Experience Required
 

Education, Skills, and Experience:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university program 
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Lightroom/Lightroom Classic
  • Proficiency in Canva 
  • Ability to follow/enforce a brand guideline 
  • English language fluency is required.

Considered a plus 

  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, or Audition
  • Proficiency in photography/videography 
  • Proficiency in webdesign 

Portfolio/Resume

  • In addition to a resume submission, please submit 3-5 works or collections of works that best exemplify your skills in graphic design, layout, and illustration. 

Abilities:

  • Ability to become proficient with the basics of our market and technology as it relates to the graphic design role
  • Comfortable working within a start-up environment requiring a hands-on approach
  • Results-oriented team player
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to align and foster positive working relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
  • Operate independently or as part of a team while demonstrating flexibility to changing requirements

Work Conditions:

Work is performed primarily in a virtual or standard office environment. Essential functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods; to occasionally bend, kneel, and reach; to lift, carry, push/pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment that may require fine motor coordination (i.e., use of a keyboard).
