
Graphic Design Intern
***Spring/Summer Internship: May 11, 2025, through August 8, 2025. Intern MUST be able to stay with Nolia Roots for the intended duration of the internship.

Our goal is to attract and grow the next generation of builders, shakers, and leaders and inspire them to master their passions. Having a small team allows for an abundance of experience opportunities and client interaction – no coffee runs here!
All internships have an option for academic credit and paid status, depending on skill level.

GRAPHIC DESIGN INTERN
As a Graphic Design Intern, you will work hand in hand with the CEO and marketing team in creating digital and print content for Nolia Roots and clients.
Responsibilities include:
- Working closely with our CEO and Community + PR intern to create compelling graphics for social media platforms, email, events, and websites that encapsulate our brand mission and values.
- Create valuable graphics that capture the attention of our target audience and help execute Nolia Roots' inbound marketing strategy.
- Work in partnership with social media managers and copywriters to optimize creative content and template structure based on best practices.
- Assist with website management and maintenance.
- Edit marketing materials, including photos, when needed
- Aiding the team with any administrative needs.
- We want to learn from you! Be prepared to come up with new, fresh ideas to enhance our content. Constantly look for new ways to improve overall programs through new technology, tools, partners, trends, and best practices. Regularly identify trends and strategies from other leading global brands to glean insights on best practices and new innovative ideas for marketing tactics, including audits of how we can acquire, nurture, and retain clients.
Skills required:
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud & Canva
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
- Good understanding of marketing strategy
- Background graphic design courses
- Impeccable attention to detail
- A+ graphic design skills
- Brand identity ideation and development (basic logo, color palette, typography, and brand patterns)
Skills preferred but not required:
Experience with the following:
- WordPress
- Wix
- Squarespace
- Mailchimp
- Website design
- Photography
All undergraduates and recent graduates pursuing a career in business, marketing, design, or a similar field are welcome to apply. Paid positions and academic credit are available.
