Marketing Coordinator

Marketing Coordinator 

 

The Marketing Coordinator will research and analyze sales and disconnects or terminations to determine customer response to broadband products and services. Assists office manager in developing and writing proposals. Develops and coordinates customer surveys. Coordinates telco participation in exhibitions. Assists in test marketing of new products and services. May maintain marketing/sales database and provide support to sales and service technicians.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conducting research to analyze competitive landscape, market trends and customer behavior. Preparing reports by collecting, summarizing and analyzing data.
  • Supporting the Office Manager in establishing and evaluating a marketing strategy and plan by analyzing and assembling forecasts, updating calendars and organizing and planning promotional presentations.
  • Responsible for creating, deploying, and monitoring marketing campaigns.
  • Communicating campaign deliverables, objectives and timelines to the team while providing instructions for promotion or use.
  • Maintaining an inventory and directory of sales support materials making sure all resources are accurate and current while coordinating new material creation as needed.
  • Continually seeking and researching new sources of prospective customers while providing recommendations to marketing and sales leadership.
  • Monitors budgets by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
  • Explores opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

 

Qualifications/Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate clearly with various departments including graphic design, public relations and advertising.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for representing organizations in public, during media events and product launches, product demonstrations and while participating community events.
  • Project management experience and time-management skills for juggling numerous time-sensitive projects simultaneously. 
  • Good computer skills for generating reports, viewing marketing metrics, extracting data and sharing this information with other team members in project updates. Working knowledge of basic computer applications, programs and features is a must with experience in web page development or graphic design being very helpful. 
  • Having the ability to provide information on previous campaigns, projects and timelines overseen and implemented in order to demonstrate overall capabilities.

 

Requirements: 

  • Degree in marketing/communications or related.
  • Experience in content management, creative writing, advertising concepts and media negotiations.
  • Critical thinker with strong problem-solving and research proficiencies.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Creative mind with superb written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex information into a user-friendly format.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Photoshop and web editing packages.
