Public Relations Intern

BPR International is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Public Relations Intern to join our team in Tampa, FL. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in various aspects of public relations, including media relations, content creation, event planning and social media management. The intern will work closely with our team to support client projects and contribute to the agency's overall success.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and execution of public relations strategies.
• Draft press releases, media advisories, and other written materials.
• Conduct media research and build media lists.
• Monitor media coverage and compile reports.
• Support social media content creation and scheduling.
• Assist with event planning and execution.
• Perform administrative tasks as needed.
• Work under the account executive and support as needed.

Qualifications:

• Current enrollment or recent graduate in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• A passion for public relations and a desire to learn.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Canva
• Writing
