Senior Field Marketing Specialist (US Remote)

SUMMARY

The Senior Field Marketing Specialist will support and execute marketing programs that drive pipeline growth and brand awareness for the Ansys Industrial Equipment team. Working closely with sales, industry marketing, and other cross-functional teams, this role focuses on coordinating and implementing field marketing activities, including events, webinars, and targeted campaigns. Success in this role requires strong project management skills, and the ability to navigate a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The ideal candidate is data-driven, results-oriented, and thrives on building partnerships that align marketing activities with business goals. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Industry Knowledge 

Develop and execute a targeted marketing plan for industrial equipment accounts. 

Stay informed about industry trends and customer challenges to help tailor messaging and outreach efforts. 

Align marketing initiatives with broader company objectives, ensuring messaging resonates with key industry personas. 

Sales & Cross-Functional Collaboration 

Build strong partnerships with sales teams, aligning marketing efforts with their priorities to accelerate account growth. 

Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including industry marketing, product marketing, corporate marketing, etc.—to ensure consistency in messaging and strategy. 

Provide updates on marketing activities, engagement metrics, and event performance. 

Event & Campaign Management 

Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of webinars, events, and tradeshows, including audience targeting, messaging, landing page development, and sales enablement. 

Monitor the effectiveness of marketing activities and provide reports on campaign performance, including metrics like registration, attendance, lead generation, etc. 

Identify and activate industry-relevant engagement opportunities, including associations, events, and social outreach, to strengthen market presence.   

Budget & Performance Management 

Assist with budget tracking and resource allocation, ensuring efficient use of marketing funds. 

Track campaign effectiveness and engagement metrics to optimize marketing programs and drive continuous improvement. 

 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

 

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. 

3-5 years of experience in field marketing, ABM, or sales enablement within B2B technology or industrial sectors 

Proven success in partnering with sales organizations to develop and execute strategic marketing programs. 

Strong ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and priorities in a dynamic, fast-moving environment. 

Analytical mindset with the ability to track, measure, and optimize marketing performance. 

Excellent communicator  

Ability to travel at least 25% as needed. 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

ABM Certified 

Experience in the Industrial Equipment industry 

Experience with marketing automation systems and CRM platforms 

Experience working with engineers, technical teams, or in engineering simulation
