Business Technology Summer Analyst

Location: Hometown Urgent Care, Remote

Position Type: Paid Internship targeting ~20 hours per week (with capacity to go full time if a candidate is available and qualified)

Duration: May 26 – August 8 (flexible on candidate and company needs)

Description: Hometown Urgent Care & Occupational Health is seeking an intern for Summer 2025 to identify, evaluate, and operationalize new technologies within tech & AI. The Summer Analyst will support all major departments (HR, Training, Marketing, Operations) and focus on developing and leading initiatives to drive efficiency using new AI technologies. You will report directly to the CEO.

We are focusing on driving operational efficiency and are seeking a driven candidate to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for entrepreneurial students with a passion for AI and business operations.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Research new generative AI and technology-based business solutions for the following departments of Hometown:
    • Sales: Lead generation using LinkedIn, generative AI or other solutions; creating content for sales campaigns or other technology solutions to improve sales and sales team effectiveness
    • Training: Content creation for training and engagement using generative AI
    • HR: Employee engagement reporting; performance evaluation solutions 
    • Marketing: Content creation including animated, video contents; measuring performance/effectiveness of marketing initiatives and other ways to improve effectiveness of marketing initiatives
    • Online presence scoring, lead generation, and predictions
  • Evaluate multiple solutions to recommend the best tool for a given initiative
  • Integrate these tools into business workflows by working with department heads, creating example use-cases, and providing support to users
  • Analyze effectiveness of these integrated solutions and diagnose improvements

Qualifications

  • Current Junior, Sophomore, or Senior studying Business, Business Analytics, Entrepreneurship, Data Science, Computer Science, or related fields
  • Knowledgeable of current AI business solutions
  • Capable of implementing new technologies into business workflows
  • Able to communicate and work collaboratively with the team
  • Able to function and lead initiatives independently
