Business Operations Intern - Summer 2025

Location: Fort Worth, TX (Manufacturing Plant)
Duration: 10-12 weeks (Summer 2025)
Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week
Eligibility: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a four-year university or community college with a degree in Business, Construction Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.

About CEMCO’s Internship Program

CEMCO is excited to offer a unique opportunity through our 2025 Summer Internship Program, where one intern will gain hands-on experience across three key departments: Operations, Customer Service, and Sales. This "hybrid" internship will allow an intern to spend one month in each department, working closely with professionals to understand the processes and procedures that drive our business.

Interns will gain practical knowledge in a dynamic manufacturing environment and develop a comprehensive understanding of the different functions that contribute to CEMCO’s success.

What You’ll Gain

Key Responsibilities

• Month 1 (Operations): Work with Operations to understand the production process, safety protocols, and the importance of operational efficiency on the plant floor.
• Month 2 (Customer Service): Work in the Shipping/Customer Service department to learn the processes related to order fulfillment, customer interactions, and logistics.
• Month 3 (Sales): Work alongside the Sales team, gaining insight into customer engagement, sales procedures, and how the sales team contributes to business growth.
• Present your learnings to the corresponding department manager at the end of each month, showcasing your understanding of key processes and findings.
• Contribute to ongoing projects in each department, gaining a broad view of CEMCO’s operations.

What We’re Looking For

• Currently pursuing or recently completed an undergraduate degree in Business, Construction Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other software applications is preferred.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork abilities.
• Eagerness to learn, adapt, and take initiative in different departments.
• A positive attitude and enthusiasm for working in a manufacturing environment.

Recruitment Timeline

Recruitment for the 2025 Summer Internship Program will begin in March. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply early. Interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis, with final selections made in the spring.
