Graphic Design Intern

We are seeking an ambitious, energetic individual to join our team, in the ever changing, fun world of Promotional Products! All SpecWorks associates are responsible for providing top quality service! Requires the ability to work well independently and as part of a team dedicated to providing the highest level of customer service.
Responsibilities for graphic design intern:
- Logos/key visuals and style guides
- Powerpoint templates, presentation boards, and hardcopy proposals
- Will participate in creative brainstorms
- Support Account Managers with ongoing or new projects
- Under supervision, plan and/or display various graphic illustrative projects, using existing artwork, photographs, (wherever possible) to achieve cost-effective presentations
- Lay out and arrange charts, graphs, slides and visual aids requiring ingenuity and originality in the presentation of data
- Develop initial graphic concepts to support content development for various communications channels, including web and/or intranet
- Create and/or design graphic displays and invitations using branded templates
- Resize advertisements to publication specifications
- Creation of vector artwork
Qualifications for graphic design intern
- Basic graphic design knowledge and experience working with image editing software such as Photoshop, Illustrator
- Ability to produce strong computer generated designs
- An online portfolio showcasing strongest work
- Must be familiar with graphic design and design software
