Board Certified Behavior Analyst (Assistant Manager, Special Education)

The impact you will have: The Board Certified Behavior Analyst leads the design, implementation, and evaluation of comprehensive, district-wide behavior prevention and response system, coordinates with district and school site stakeholders to meet school wide and individual student needs. The Board Certified Behavior Analyst builds capacity in the district through training staff in research-based individual interventions, classroom systems, and school-wide behavior support strategies. The Board Certified Behavior Analyst coordinates and oversees behavior support staff at school sites and ensures high quality services for our students and staff. The Board Certified Behavior Analyst assesses and provides consultative and direct student services.

 

The classification of this role is Assistant Manager in the Special Education Department and will be compensated per San José Unified's Salary Schedule for Management Employees. Further information on the Assistant Manager's role is available at: https://sjusd.box.com/v/assistantmanager
