Marketing Coordinator

Job Description: We are looking for an innovative Marketing Coordinator to create and manage engaging content across our social media platforms. This role will focus on building brand awareness, fostering community engagement, and driving traffic to our digital platforms.

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with overall marketing objectives.
  • Create, schedule, and publish high-quality, visually compelling content across social platforms. 
  • Monitor and respond to audience interactions to foster community engagement.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Director to ensure brand consistency across all social channels. 
  • Track social media performance metrics and provide actionable insights for improvement.
  • Coordinate with team members to produce dynamic visuals and videos/content creation.
  • Assist in creating event promotions and coverage through social media campaigns.
  • Stay current with social media trends, platform updates, and emerging tools.
  • Utilize analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and suggest data-driven strategies.
  • Support email marketing efforts by contributing social media insights and strategies.
  • Track and report on marketing activities, including metrics, market research, competitive analysis, and consumer trends. 
  • Build and manage weekly extraction lists to identify potential engagement opportunities.
  • Conduct tag searches and engage with relevant users to expand audience reach.
  • Target key markets throughout the US for social media efforts.
  • Manage data entry tasks related to customer lists and marketing campaigns.
  • Oversee list management and ensure data accuracy for targeted outreach.
  • Assist in creating and managing blog content to support marketing efforts.
  • Maintain and utilize targeted customer data and marketing lists to optimize campaign outreach. 
  • Occasionally assist with in-store or event photography/videography for social content.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive company information.
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Skills and Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience managing social media accounts for a brand or organization.
  • Proficiency in Meta platforms, Instagram, TikTok, Eventbrite, and other emerging platforms.
  • Basic knowledge of content creation tools. 
  • Experience with analytics tools to track social performance and ROI. 
  • Strong writing and communication skills, with an ability to craft engaging captions and posts. 
  • Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple campaigns simultaneously. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp.
  • Knowledge of basic SEO principles to optimize social media content.
  • Experience working in a retail or photography-related industry.
