Project Scheduler (CPM)
Position: (CPM) Project Scheduler
A Scheduler for Commercial Construction will work under the direct supervision of a senior scheduler and/or project manager to support scheduling tasks for small projects. Responsibilities include gathering and organizing project information, assisting in the preparation of schedules, and learning to identify potential scheduling conflicts. This role provides foundational exposure to scheduling techniques, cost analysis, and project planning while developing skills in analyzing project data and improving scheduling efficiency.
Primary Duties:
- Support data collection and organization for schedule development.
- Help generate project status reports and updates.
- Assist in creating basic project schedules using scheduling software
- Learn to track project timelines and identify scheduling conflicts.
- Assist in integrating resource allocation into schedules.
- Maintain scheduling records and update project timelines as needed.
- Participate in team meetings to understand project schedules.
- Support risk identification and basic mitigation planning.
- Follow company scheduling procedures and participate in training.
- Perform other tasks as assigned to develop scheduling skills.

- Other related duties as needed and assigned by the Manager in support of the successful completion of the project.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Equivalent education, training, or relevant internship experience may substitute for a degree.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in scheduling, project coordination, or related construction role.
- Internship or coursework in scheduling is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) is a plus but not required.
- Certifications: No certification is required, but an interest in pursuing scheduling credentials (e.g., PSP, PMI-SP) is encouraged.
Requirements:
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
- Familiarity with scheduling software (Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) is a plus but not required.
- Basic understanding of construction concepts, gained through coursework, internships, or training.
- Willingness to learn ERP cost management tools and scheduling methodologies.
