Sales Engineer

Job Title: Sales Engineer

Location: Southborough, MA (In-person Position)

Responsibilities:

As a Sales Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Making it quick and easy for HVAC professionals to purchase the equipment and parts they need to get the job done.
  • Prospecting for new customers by leveraging business directories, leads from existing clients, and active participation in trade shows and conferences.
  • Engaging with new and existing customers to comprehensively understand their HVAC needs and effectively communicate how our products and services align with their requirements.
  • Identifying replacement parts to ensure compatibility and functionality.
  • Preparing detailed and accurate quotations for customers, considering project requirements, schedules, and budget constraints.
  • Addressing customer inquiries regarding product pricing, availability, and usage to ensure informed decision-making.
  • Leading negotiations on pricing and terms of sales agreements to secure mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Efficiently facilitating order placement.
  • Collaborating closely with colleagues to share insights on effective selling strategies and market trends.
  • Conducting thorough follow-ups with customers to guarantee their satisfaction with purchases and to address any concerns promptly.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Interest in commercial/industrial machinery, parts, and related products.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Determination and a proactive approach to cultivating and nurturing customer relationships.

Location:

This position is located at our Southborough, MA office and requires on-site presence.
