Job Title: Media & Engagement Intern

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio

We serve the residents of Hamilton County in more ways than you may realize! As the Media & Engagement Intern at Hamilton County, you will be integral in advancing the development and implementation of extensive marketing and communications strategies catering to both internal stakeholders and the wider public audience. Your responsibilities will encompass crafting compelling content, aiding in the coordination of social media initiatives, and participating in diverse projects across the communications department.

Summary of Job Duties:

  • Develop and implement marketing and communication strategies.
  • Write and develop e-newsletter and press materials.
  • Support the development and execution of social media campaigns across various platforms.
  • Provide assistance on special projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Advanced student enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program with at least two year's coursework in communications, public relations, marketing, or related field.
  • Must be detail-oriented with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver's license issued by state of residency. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ​ graphic design and video editing experience is a plus

Work Location and Hours:

  • 138 E. Court St.  Cincinnati, Oh. 45102
  • 30Hour Work Week, generally between core hours of 7:30-5:30,
