Accounting Intern – Inventory & Finance Focused

Are you a college student or recent graduate eager to gain real-world accounting experience? Famous Smoke Shop is looking for a motivated Accounting Intern to join our finance team! You’ll get hands-on exposure to inventory accounting, invoice processing, and financial reporting—all while working alongside experienced accounting professionals.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist with data entry for accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Help review and match purchase orders, item receipts, and vendor invoices (3-way matching)
• Support inventory tracking and reconciliation efforts
• Prepare spreadsheets and assist with financial reporting
• Help reconcile bank statements and organize accounting records
• Shadow month-end closing processes
• Work closely with purchasing and receiving teams to ensure documentation accuracy
• Provide general support to the accounting team as needed

What We’re Looking For:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets)
• Basic understanding of accounting principles is a plus—but not required
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and good communication skills
• Comfortable working in a smoking environment
